It all started when I was 8 years old. As soon as I could hold a camera, I was photographing whatever I set my eyes on! Then, when I was a pre-teen, my mom let me use her film camera to open “Star Portrait Studio” where my family could “book their family portraits”. We all knew then that a 12 year old Ellice had found her passion in life.
In high school, my business project was photography based, so it came as no surprise to my favorite teacher that was the path I’d chosen in life.
In 2010, I moved to Halifax to study digital photography. I graduated as top in my class, winning first place in the year end showcase. In 2012, I moved home to start my business journey!
Specializing in wedding & portrait photography, I capture romantic, timeless images for my couples. I capture raw emotion & laughter that every family shares. I tell a story, your story, from start to finish. I love to capture love. I love to capture milestones. And I love to capture families.
As I sit here writing this in my yoga pants, in my home office, with my partner in crime by my side (my dog, Nala), I think about what I can tell you about myself. Honestly, I'm just a small town Torbay girl, born & raised. I love Disney, I love dance, I love to travel, I love my dog and of course, I love photography. I'm just an average girl with a big heart & an even bigger dream.
